 a poem about writing about love — or the lack of it

for so long now,

my words have been

painted in hues of 

blue and grey — 

sadness and heartache (i 

fear they always

will be). but i

can’t wait 

for the day 

when i can write 

just about

love — and not

the loss // lack of it.
